The Flex Pilates Movement

Hollywood’s hottest celebrity workout comes to the Midwest! Trained in Beverly Hills, owner Tracy Zindell discovered hybrid Pilates 10 years ago as a way to build muscle and bring harmony into her hectic lifestyle.  After seeing and feeling immediate muscular changes in her body she was hooked after her first week.

It wasn’t long before Hollywood stars also caught onto the hybrid Pilates craze.  Celebs starting popping into her classes and hybrid Pilates quickly became a phenomena in LA. It was a no-brainer for Tracy to bring her dynamic, high intensity format of Pilates home to Chicago — And in 2012, opened Flex Pilates Chicago inside what once was the Schwinn bicycle factory.

Voted the Best Pilates workout in Chicago by Citysearch, Flex is a boutique reformer studio located in the heart of River North. With nine reformers, each class provides hands-on, semi-private instruction. Focusing on core strength and flexibility, Flex is a unique fusion of traditional pilates and dynamic strength training to achieve a whole body workout. With the state-of-the-art Allegro 2 Reformer you get all the benefits of traditional pilates packed into an intense, fun, and effective 50 minute workout.

Prenatal Classes

For all stages of pregnancy and for new moms who want to get back into shape, pilates offers the perfect balance between mind and body. We have prenatal group reformer classes every week. Contact us for class info.


Taking three classes a week you are guaranteed to change your body in just four weeks. We offer six bootcamp sessions on M/W/F. All classes are mandatory for the entire 4 week session.

West Coast meets Midwest

Flex integrates styles from California to create a fast-paced and dynamic form of pilates, founded in the basics and sprinkled with spice.
